Our Story
Founded in 2015 by Chef Amara Okafor, Taste of Africa was born from a deep passion to share the authentic flavors and rich culinary traditions of the African continent with our community.
Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, Chef Amara learned the art of cooking from her grandmother, who taught her that food is not just nourishment—it's a celebration of culture, family, and heritage.
"Every dish we serve carries the soul of Africa—the warmth of our people, the richness of our land, and the love of our ancestors."
Today, we continue this tradition by sourcing authentic ingredients and preparing each dish with the same care and respect that has been passed down through generations.
